Wow... My first day was alright. Everybody here is way nice but it's hard thinking I have 2 years till I come home. It seems so long. Last night I got way home sick and legit just wanted to be home in my bed. I know I'm doing the right thing though. Tomorrow I have to teach an "investigator." Seriously? I don't know anything or how yet. I'm way nervous. My companion is pretty cool. He doesn't like sports but he's chill and pretty funny. He's from Pennsylvania so he has an accent. My district is pretty cool. I'm really jealous of this one companionship because they are into sports and stuff just like me. It's fine though. I also saw Carson today for a minute and I saw Dallin yesterday but I couldn't get to him. Today has been a lot better than yesterday though for sure. Once I hit Sunday I'm going to dominate. I got to sit with Prodigy at dinner tonight. I love that kid. He is helping me a lot. Seeing people I know helps so much. I just got your Dear Elder. Thank you so much. Please keep the letters coming, I know I made fun of other missionaries, but it helps a lot. It gives me something to look forward to. I know there are thousands here, but I kind of feel alone. Like I said I'm getting used to it, but it's so hard. My district is pretty cool. What's hard for me is having teachers here that I know come here to teach then go HOME. I'm stuck here in a way. I'm here to do the Lord's work. I'm just going to keep fighting. LOVE YOU ALL AND MISS YOU SO MUCH! P.S. I need email addresses!! My P-Day is Sat, Fri, then Sat. If you don't get an email this week it's because I don't remember the address!

He's Outta Here!

We dropped Elder Howell off at the MTC at 1 o'clock today. He was very nervous but excited to start his calling as a Missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
